I got my refurbished 78 corolla carb! looks great and im installing it on saturday! ill keep this updated and post pics on how i did it. This carb is suppose to increase topend and not stall out on inclines to about 45degrees.

need help i cannot find a hose adapter for one of the fuel inlets to the jets. it is a 12mm x 1 no one seems to have it i have no clue what to do

ok so far, I have modified the sami thermal spacer to work with the yota carb. I have to re tap the fuel inlet hose adapter to a 3/8. hopefully ill have it done tomorrow

well i got it up and running, but its idling at 3000 and if i adjust it down it dies.... some threads say to modify the thermal spacer and some doent. I did not modify it. could this be the cause?

well it did not go as smoothly as i planned. this is the first carb swap ive done so it was rough. i have a few kinks to work out and am taking it to a shop that works on carbs and have them do a once over.

Sounds like a vacuum leak, is it running any better?

1994 Kick, 16v,header.2.5" exhaust,ported MAF,home made mufflers, K&N filter,5" lift with jeep LJ front springs on the rear and Ford ranger springs on front with 2 3/4 spacers,OME struts with 3" strut spacers,31/10.5 Hankook Dynapro MT on 15x7 black D's.
