steel coil spacers...
« on: March 19, 2012, 03:16:29 PM »
ok, picked up some zukination spacers for the kick to add to my grand vitara coil swap on a 90 2dr kick.

they unfortunitly didnt come with any instructions and im wondering mostly about the coil rubber isolator thats on top of the coil. does it stay on the frame side of the spacer or does it stay on the coil side? or is another isolator needed so that the steel spacer has a rubber isolator on both top and bottom of the spacer?

also, i already have with the gv coil swap 1" of rear lift. with a 1.5" spacer (or even the 2" spacer) will i need to add a driveshaft spacer? i do have the upper 3rd link spacer as well (1.5") which also tips the rear diff up towards the transmission slightly.

I bought some aluminum spacers from a company out of Kelowna and their directions said to take the isolator and put it in the new spacer so the spacer goes straight into the spring mount and the top of your spring has the rubber isolator between it and the new spacer. i never used any drive shaft spacer with a two inch lift just the differential spacer.
