So I've removed the compressor and bracket, the condenser coil and pusher fan, and as much of the plumbing as I could get at.  How do I remove the evaporator coil and box?  I want the entire system gone, and I want the extra space on the little shelf.

Take the shelf out.  Then I think there is 1 or 2 nuts on the engine side of the firewall that you take off, so the evaporator unit will come out.  I think there might also be a screw holiding the evaporator ducting to the heater box ducting.  It really isn't hard to figure out, if you start looking at it.
There are also some wiring components and some wiring that you can remove from under the dash.  It is all plug and play, so just unplug it.  Remember to plug the blower fan back in, otherwise it won't work.
There is also a switch on the hot/cold selector that is part of the AC, it can be removed along with the AC on/off button in the faceplate.

You might want to look at converting the pump over to an on-board air system.  Not like it robs power if your not running it.

what year sami do you have?  i might be interested in purchasing your ac system, also if the right year i have the plastic piece that goes where the evap is,

to remove there is two bolts behind glove box, and one nut in engine compartment just below the two lines, and above the drain. one hose clamp looking piece to the left of evap box(thats for the 89-94 for 100% not sure about other years, e-mail me at dustedwatts|removethispart|@hotmail.com,

It's an 87, and all that is left of the system is the evap coil and housing.  The compressor was siezed, so it went away, along with the pusher fan and condenser coil, and most of the plumbing.  I still have the brackets if you want them.  Shipping only.  PM or email me if you are interested.
