O.K., lots of "do it yourself" and vehicle mod info from the past three or so years was lost.  Big deal!  Let's look through our files and replace the info you posted within this period and get it back up and on the forum.

There aren't too many forums that contained a specific section for 2nd gen truck mods WITH pics like the Zukiworld forum has.

Fabricating bumpers.... beagle-t you just made a new front winch bumper.

ARB lockers, captwoody you just had an ARB installed  in your Tracker that required modifying the ring gear.

Wheel/tire combos, suspension lifts, gear swaps, inverters, lights, fabricated winch mounts, engine tech, there was tons of info posted within the last couple of years.

Dig into your personal pics and post these mods and repairs you have done to your truck... again.

Remember HOW you felt when you discovered Zukiworld for the first time?  I sure as hell do.  Zukiworld  exposed me to whole new ways of viewing my truck and spending money on him!  If I had found the Zukiworld forum 23 years ago each of my 7 Track/Kicks I have owned during that period would have been TOTALLY different vehicles and lots more capable and fun!

New forum members rely on other's experience (obsessions) to light their fires so they too can become addicted to modifying their trucks and occasionally... sleeping in the dog house for it.  We OWE it to them!

What I recommend is do what has been done on other forums. I used to be big on the 4Runner forum then I broke the frame on my baby and haven't been on except to say hi to some folks. Anyways in the Generation specific we made sticky threads that sat at the top of the section for all the questions that get asked. We had a thread that covered all the lifts available as well as reviews of each and links to the original thread that discussed it. One for tires and wheel offset with common combinations and reviews and again links to the original threads.  I think you see where I am going with this, anyways I have a 2004 4Door Tracker now and hoping to get good information and recommendations on my build.

Creating a section entitled "McGiver Tools" would be cool too.  I know a lot of people found interesting ways to meet the requirements for specialty tools.  This would be interesting and a useful section as well.

Speaking of those, anyone have details (and or pictures) on how to make a socket for getting the wheel bearing retainer ring off? I hate trying to spin it with a screwdriver and hammer lol. If there isn't I'm going to get one made up soon and I'll post it.
