Extended brake lines and parts suppliers
« on: June 09, 2021, 10:53:49 AM »
I just did a 2''body and 2'' suspension lift on a 2003 XL7.  the front brake lines are tight but working, but i would like to get longer ones. Is there anywhere to order those?  Also, would like any suggestions of websites to order any XL7 off road parts from.

I just went thru a similar problem on my 1990 tracker. The SS lines available from trail tough are slightly longer thank stock and you can move (with much difficulty) the bracket mount points on the line. I ended up having custom ones made using all OE style points /hardware. It took a dedicated Technician to hunt down the oe style pcs. seems they are brake quip brand but not "Standard stuff". They cost me 170$ for 2 front lines - WAY TOO $$ but I was in a pickle and just went for it. Of course im in Kalifornia (bay area) and shop rate is around 250$ hour most places.
