Greenridge State Forest (Maryland) Trail Run
« on: October 11, 2004, 05:05:50 PM »
Hey Guys,

A trail run (very mild) is set for November 6 and 7th on the 18 mile ORV trail at Greenridge State Forest in Western Maryland.

All rigs are welcome, but highly modified are certainly not needed.  This is a very low key run, designed to introduce driver and vehicles to offroading, without tearing up their vehicles.    A stock 4x4 can navigate with little to no damage...

I've invited several members of the Honda SUV forums to join us, and so far, I've got several CRV and Element owners who are coming.

Let's get some Zuks out on the run!   XL7's, GVits, Kicks!  I'd love to see some Samis out there too!

Please feel free to email me at bolowiany|removethispart|@hotmail.com for more details, and to let me know if your coming.

Take it easy,

Brian

Brian: Dude I'm there and glad to see you amongst the Zuki crowd I wouldn't mind being there just to winch out the CRV's and Elements.  ;D

Green Ridge is the second largest of Maryland's State Forests consisting of a 44,000-acre oak-hickory forest. It is located in eastern Allegany County, approximately eight miles east of Flintstone off I-68 at Exit 64.

Green Ridge State Forest offers an 18-mile loop trail located on East Valley and Stafford Roads for off-road vehicles (ORV). All unregistered motorcycles and four wheelers (three-wheel ORV's are not permitted) are required to obtain an identification permit from the Department of Natural Resources. Permits are available from any DNR Regional Service Center or State Forest offices that have designated ORV trails.

CZ,

NO worries!   They'll be plenty more runs!   Still would love to get together sometime to do a run with you.

Good luck with the install!
