Part II - cracked housing
« on: January 14, 2005, 09:45:35 AM »
Looked a little wet underneath this morning. There were oily spots on the driveway from various nights. Couldn't figure it out till I actually laid down and took a closer look.

Cracked has continued.....

I locked the hubs in due to having icy rain snow for the past week+. Never used the t-case..... The JB Weld didn't quite work. Something has to be loose in the mounts.

I have a Suzuki Grand Vitara, and I broke my housing also, when I called Calmini, Hawk Suzuki, and Rocky Road, they said it was a common problem for off raoder's because of the aluminum housing, Hawk suzuki offers a steel housing which I purchaced. He claimed it would be a lot stronger than the aluminum. My Zuk was 100% Stock. Calmini said if you do any thing to your zuk first put the steel housing because if you don't you will have to put one in eventually. They are not that hard to install, It took me about 10 man Hours :)
