I have finally found the Spring rate of the 2 door Track / Kick.

2 Door Conv   1991 & 1994  not sure about other applications..

Front Springs :  452.8

Rear Springs :   156.5


4 Door (Hard top, Obviously)

I didn't account for the lower control arm being a leaver / force multiplier.  I just thought Heavy 6 cyl cherokee, V/S lighter 4cyl Kick.   This explains why the Jeep XJ front springs collapsed.  



Where can I find factory spring rates?  

I think I'm going to look at Full Size GM RWD front coils, and maybe try my Stock 78 F-150 4wd front coils.   Any one have any suggestions as to where to find a similar to stock spring rate but 4" longer.  
   I know I might can get some custom wound, but I'm not ready to commit that much $$$  to the set up I'm running yet...  

So changing the Wheel Backspacing or front track width, IN effect, changes the suspension rate / leverage...       This is getting DEEP

That being said it is much easier when you apply the principal to somthing you are familure with.

Still,  No one list the rates any more.  We have the spring you need just click your application... Molested 4-dr kick isn't on the menu.  

Spring size and applicaton isn't an issue, I'll make the cups fit.  I just need rate info...

Searching last week & 1hr later, still can't find it, but I know it is their.  I finally got someone who had it to Email me that spec sheet.

Thats handy. I have 2 formulae for calculating spring rates but they give wildly different answers .  I shall try working it through again and see if one of them gives the correct answer. I just bought a calmini 3" kit through ebay which gives me something else to play around with   .
