I found out today that I can use the larger filter for a Ford Taurus 3.0 Vulcan engine on my '91 Tracker.  Clearance is a little close due to the increased length, but well worth the trade off for a (estimated) 70-80% increase in filter media. I'll let y'all know how it works out over the next 3000 miles.  The best part is that the filters are exactly the same price...   

lol I found out that the filter for my 03 Tacoma w/ the 2.7 is identical to the one my Trackick uses.
