Anybody put on the Suzuki OEM mud flaps?

Yeah, not exactly a hard core part or anything but I'm a firm beleiver in mud flaps for protecting the paint and body and keeping salt, crud, and general road grime out of the crevices and undersides of my vehicles.  The Suzuki flaps are attractive and complement the vehicle, seem sturdy yet flexible enough, and are actually a pretty good deal.  I got front and rears for less than the cheapest aftermarket alternative cost.

So anyways I go to install the rears today.  Anyone else done this?  On a GV with the body cladding they want you to drill these 3 holes and then push in these rivet nuts and then tighten bolts through to hold the flaps on.  Only problem is the damn rivet nuts are narrower than they say!  Mine pulled right out.  I ended up just using some screws I had to secure them to the body.  We'll see how they hold up but I threw in an extra screw on them to help keep them on there.  I don't see how this could be weaker than the way they wanted me to do it.

Just venting a little, I expected better from Suzuki.

Oh yeah, 15 minutes work my eye!  Maybe if you didn't have to take the tires off like the instructions say...but oh yeah, there's no way you could get a drill in there with the tires on!  Grumble bitch moan...least they look good. 8)

I have the Tracker ZR2 package so it comes with wheel flares and mud flaps all around.  My only complaint is with the front mudflaps; there are so freaking low that they hit the ground when I drive off of a curb.  Hopefully it will be better once I get my lift from Josh ;)
