I started to change both CV's on my father' tracker...

The driver side is well done...But the fuc*ing passenger side

I completely remove the knuckel(I previously change CV's on my 94 sidekick), so I pull the cv hard to remove them...





Sow now how I will remove this piece of sh*t?

I have used a large pair of channel lock pliers and a hammer for this.

Use a pry bar between the peice of the CV and the axle housing. There is a spring clip that holds the whole thing in there, this is sometimes a PITA to pull out. You can try to rebuild the CV but I would suggest to go to a parts store, I got one for $75 Canadian when you return the old one.

I tried prybar...but the case start to break.

I tried with a 3 feet chain and a weight a the end...nothing...

that sucks i had a simelar problem on my 99 tracker. what i did is i made myself a pickel fork sorta . i toke a a 3/4inche thike or so piece of flat steel that was wider then the cv joint cut out the center of it just wide enough for the axle shaft to fit in the center then i ground down the two ends to 45degres or so . then i just hamered it inbeetween the cv joint and the trany  eventualy pussing out the axle stub just make shure to put the flat side on the trany
you might brake the c-clipe in their i did but it has'nt been an issu
