Ok so heres whats up, Ive got a 1.6L 8 v tracker motor up for sale in an 89 tin top 5 speed... I want to know what the differences between an 89 and a 92 1.6 are... the guy buying it has a 92 with a blown motor.. he also is paying me to do the swap.. the only thing i can think of that might be trouble would be the wiring? 89's do not have a VSS and 92's do? what can be done about this... thanks

Just swap the long block,
use the 92 intake and exhaust you should be fine
