on my '91 I had to add some washers and longer bolts to the rag joint end as mine has no slip shaft. The Calmini instructions mentioned adding like 2" but that was WAY off! It was more like 1/4-1/2"
I had the same experience.
Those are good news, seems like I'll be using washers and longer Bolts on my 3" BL since mine has rag joint (plastic pieces right??). I'll try to upload pics from my weekend project.
