Have to get the nelson club to go there next year on the northern safari

My track wouldn't be worth coming all the way up from  Nelson for as it's to short for more than a day run and not really suited for more than 3 trucks. Wellington has a lot of good tracks available and then if you want to head north go up to Thompsons track for a good time at Waihi for a good time  .

Planed correctly you could hook up with guys from Nzook and do a track in there area with them before moving on to the next members area and beening show where the tracks are there. It's all ways easier to use someones local knowledge than to try find the good tracks yourself and just bowling into a track can get you in the sh!t, take for instance some tracks off the Taupo Rd which look like good 4x4ing tracks are Maroi land and they will shoot at you.

 
I found out the hard way when  I ran into them while they were out riding around on horse back but luckly we managed to get away with just appolgising to them for trespassing and drove out. How ever I know one person that drove out from the same area another time with flat tyres after a .270 went through them !
