what do you guys think about EZ lockers or other cheaper lockers? I know you probably get what you pay for, but right now I cant afford the expensive ones. would it be worth it to get an EZ? I'm thinking about getting a stock sammi and want to get wheeling ASAP. would I regret getting a Detroit EZ locker?

i was planning on just going ez locker in the rear at first. I heard running a front one is sketchy on the pavement. this car will double as transportation so i need it to be decent on the road to go to and from work and whatnot. is there any reason you wouldnt put it in the rear?

Go for it!!!! You wont regret it. The more expensive lockers do operate smoother but at twice the price they ought to. I ran a lockrite and a detroit r/f for many years with 33's and only occasionally broke a spring pin when abusing the hell out of my kick.

i run a lokrite in the year , ARB in the front the lockrite has given me no probs and great of road.

I took it out last saturday to put into a new diff and it looked like new after over a year of wheeling on 33s

the front locker will have no efect to the driving on road as long as ur hubs r unlocked. i run a lockrite in the rear it is an excelent product. u may want to get some help with the install because it can become very difficult. there is a help line u can call and they pretty much know everything about gears and lockers. the problem comes in when ur limited knoldge keeps u from giving them a proper discription of the problem. that is what happened to me.

That ez should be very strong. I have a relative that runs one in his scout (poor misguided soul ).  I has done the 'Con twice and outlived two motors, and massive.....uuuhhhmmmm......structural carnage.
