Side kick and sammi gears
« on: February 03, 2006, 09:24:00 AM »
I have my kids sammi with 30 inch bfg's on it right now, planning on going to 32", should I swap the sidekick auto 5.13? or the manual 4.62? gears in to it?? He doesn't drive any freeways with it, mainly around town and play in the woods. Thanks

The easiest thing to do is to swap out the T-case gears for lower ones.
That also lowers your High range 2wd.

With 5.13's you could still drive freeways with a stock transfer case or 4 to 1 transfer case.

Auto Trans gears are 4.62, Man Trans are 5.13

Just making sure you don't get the wrong gears
