Ok, I must have done something to really piss of the zuki gods.
(Background I am using the power steering install kit from Sky Manufacturing.)

I get a steering shaft done.(PITA in itself)
I get all ready to put in the radiator and the bracket hits the power steering gear box. Is this Normal do I need to modify the radiator mount, or can I just grind the back of the gear box down a little to make it fit a little easier.

HAS ANYONE ELSE RUN INTO THIS?

WHY IS THIS SO DAMN HARD!!!!!!!!!!!
What did I do to deserve this?
What I ASK WHAT?

Frustrated beyond belief.

I have seen where guys take a hole saw to the rad bracket right where it hits the box. prob. a one inch or so. oh ya forgot to say that mine was tossed(long rad bracket) about two years ago and only has a small tab at the top on the drivers side holding up the radiator still, the passenger side does most of the work and so far so good but I only drive it to the mall or on the way to church and back  ;D

Take the radiator mount and bend it around a tube to cause enough of a indentation to allow the gear box.  Take a look at the right side radiator mount too see how it should be indented.

I got it in. I notched the radiator bracket to hug the gear box. seems to be stiffer than it was before so all is good. Now when I finish hooking up the hoses and stuff I hope that it all works cuz taking it all out again is gonna piss me off.

Anyway I got it to fit so that all the parts a back in and the hood shuts.
It's not really pretty right now but it works. I hope.

So I finally got the powersteering to fit with everything else in the engine bay.
Drove it last night. Noticable loss of power but I really don't care because I can actually turn with ease. and after steering with lockers front and rear at Evans creek I'm looking forward to not getting back to the tow rig and collapsing from exhaustion.

Sno would have to be a Sunday Trip prefer evans cuz it's about equal for both of us.
