i need some help on deciding which way to go for gearing... i hear the tracker gears are good. whats the process with that.. or would it be easier and cheaper to just get the t-case reduction? let me know what your opinion is

Hello!

This is a much-discussed topic of late.

Try a search for gears at Ack's FAQ.com.

You will find several matches -- most of them are related to your question(s).  Start with Axle or transfer case gears: a monograph as it talks about the load relationship between the differentials and the transfer case.  There are also several posts and links to articles on axle/differential/transfercase servicing.

Hope this helps! ;D
