Guys,

I really want to know more bout this, I've read bout an article where this job is described but cannot find it....

Some clue bout it?  ???

I installed extensions on strut in front shocks, does that give me the same results?

Yes it is the same result; decreasing your up travel, increasing the down travel.  You probably SHOULD NOT do the strut mount flip if you have already installed a strut extension.  It will give you too much droop and put the CV's at a bad angle.

Here is the budget lift article.

Ok, but what's the exact porpouse of doing the strut mount flip?

There's no lift gain right? just keep the stock shocks and travel?

It increases the downward travel of the strut by around an inch or two.  Since you have the extensions already, I dont think it would benefit you much.  The CV angles would be a hurtin.   :)

It doesn't decrease your uptravel, the stock setup leaves 2" of unused travel. Lowering the strut lets you use this travel. A 2" spacer gives you around 45% more front travel and is a very good mod. More than 2" will probably trash your CVs and would require bump stop extensions to prevent you from possibly blowing the strut on max. up travel. The strut mount flip gives around 3/4" more travel at the strut.

Thanks all, I was just "learning" about this mod.

The extensions I have installed are about 2" long so thats enough "by now"  ;)
