The tranny in my Samurai makes terrible noises, mostly in nuetral with the clutch out, obviously the input bearing.  Just curious how long I can run it like this, I haven't but am going to change the oil in it, I 've only put about a .1 miles on and done just one donut in the snow.  How hard are these to rebuild, would I need a press or any special tools?

a bearing extracor and a careful hammer. a press is idea but it is required. if the input bearing goes it can fuse to the input shaft or round out the hole bigger.
4 1/2 body
Coil spacers
