With that SPOA what shocks will I have to go with? I just want to cover all my bases before I start into something like this......
What if I threw the SPOA and a 2" body lift? or would I even need a body lift?
You should not need a body lift at all for 30's I'm running 31x11.50 swampers and I don't rub too much course it might be good if I put bump stops back on my rig.
Well good question on the shocks in the rear if you didn't buy lower shock mounts you would just reuse the rear ones.
The fronts I would say get ones that compress to around 12 and extend as far as you can get them to extend.
I bought Rancho rs5115's and at full compress there was not enough up travel so made for a horrible ride, my nickname in my 4x4 club is "Pinball" always bouncing and never on the ground course that is different now since I have shocks that work better and bigger tires.
got that on a 12 hour drive at Naches Washington. with wrong shocks and 235/75/15 inch tires with that much lift. pm me your email and I can ship you the pdf's for rancho's specs and shock lists. or you can see if you can find them on Rancho's web site.
The best way to find out what length shock you are going to need after doing any lift is to remove the shocks and find someplace you can cycle your suspension to full stuff and full droop. and then take the measurements from shock mounting point to shock mounting point.
Unfortunalty the laws of physics don't allow me to have the shocks I want,
compress to 12 and extend to 24 or 25
