How do I remove my Tracker's windshield rubber trim and my front fenders?

I'm looking to do some "body work"
on my Tracker to keep the rust at bay. I've borrowed a picture from Keith to illustrate the kind of rust I have on my Tracker around the windshield:
Actually, mine's worse.
So before I pull out the Chassis Saver, Herculiner, and Rustoleum Hammered paint what do I need to do to get that rubber trim/boot sorta thing out from around the windshield? I've got a LOT of rust coming up around it in places. A previous crappy windshield install job at some point in the past is biting me in the butt.
The next question is how do I remove the front fenders? The rust extends under the front fenders so I'd like to get as much of it as possible.

Removing the trim around the windshield without destroying it, is hard to do as it wraps under the glass to do the repair properly you have to remove the windshield..Removing the fender is straight forward,,Just unbolt it .The screw by the grille may have to be ground off.

Ah hah! That explains why my '90's windshield leaks! The rubber gasket was so loose it pulled right out! Guess I'll just pour a bunch of whatever rust convertor I get into the windshield channel and call it good.

Try this: if you warm it with a heat gun, you might be able to lift it up a little and tape it back so you can get under it, but the proper expensive way would be to remove the window, and sandblast it, then use some pinch weld primer.

Eh, when we move south I'm getting a rust free one and transfering all the goodies over. This is just to keep my feet from getting wet for the next few years.
