Getting little more lift with a 2.5" suspension lift kit
« on: September 08, 2006, 05:34:21 AM »
I have a 2001 XL-7 and last year bought 235/50/18 tires/chrome wheels.  I'm thinking of getting the RockyRoad 2.5" lift kit.  But how can I getting a little more lift?  Getting bigger coral spacers?  And from whom?  RockyRoad spacers makes the lift to be 2.5".  I'm thinking I want at least 3" or 3.5" lift.

Thanks.

You could bag on the spacers all together and get 3" springs from VTTR.  as for the struts and shocks you can buy 99 Ford f150  4x2 v6 shocks for the rear and up front either sturt extenders or OME struts.  This how ever leves you with two issues: 1 your front CV anagle will close to maxxing out   2nd you will need to do something for the rear track bar. I know you can buy just the extened track bar from RRO.

Hope this helps some.

hey, looking at this post, i agree, what to do about the 3 inch front lift and the cv's...  ??  but i'm curious about the f150v6 shocks for the rear, how much longer are they?  my crown vic may be a little on the short side, i'd like to get another inch of droop if possible..
