As always, it's only a question of budget (those "rare earth" permanent magnets cost a fortune!!!   :-\)

Yeah, I know they're not cheap. A friend at work was building a windmill, we pulled earth magnets out of defective computer hard drives we were throwing out!
I ended up replacing all my fridge magnet's ceramics for earth. I know, I should have better things to do.

Hope your house doesn't have any steel beams in it; You'll find your fridge stuck on the sealing one of these days!

Boy, those magnets are good! >:D

BTW The rare-earth magnets I have to use for my motor are about 20 cm long by 7 wide.  It's not a joke, you can really lift a fridge with two or three of those!  A friend of mine once (very stupidly) stuck a finger between two of those magnets and he have to go to the hospital for a fracture.  He crush a phalanx.

There's a old saying in Quebec who said: "Grosse corvette, p'tite quequette!".  It means "Big cars are for those who have to compensate for a very small wiener".  Therefore, I love my VERY SMALL Zuki!!!

Wow!  Historic antiquity jokes! ;D

And they say motorheads guy don't have sophistication and culture!!!  8)

OK, I was not shure about the translation.  In french "phallange" is the term for the bones inside the knuckle.  IS "phallanx" a correct translation or not?

D'uh!!!  :-\

(Is it me or have we all a slight tendancy to go more and more off-topic around here?)  ;D

Just looked, it is the same spelling.  :)  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phalanx

As for off-topic, I think that is my fault half the time.  Work makes the mind wander.  :P
