I'd say not, I don't see a 1.6L
engine kit, 8V or 16V

That does not seem to out of line for a kit including forged Ross pistons. Not really needed for most of you guys unless you are planning for boost.

I wanna boost my 1.3 EFI Sammy.

I was looking into a Vortech V-5g compressor, but the head unit alone is $1800!

May have to build a stainless manifold and get a g-25?

Will a FMU (pressure regulator) do the job? Or do I need more complicated eletronics?

Only looking to do 6 psi max.

Just a little more passing power is needed. I can roll at 85 Mph all day and plenty of low-end grunt.

EFI needs more than pressure for
the increased fuel demand, you
can draw thru the carb, but it will
need to be rejetted to match the
increased flow of air, a g-25 would
work, also a used good Subaru turbo
works well on a 1.6  You might want
a 1.6L turbo for a 1.3 engine, but for
$100, why not.

See

for my turbo buildup.
