will 16x8 rims w/235/70 fit on GV?

will 16x8 rims w/235/70 fit on GV?

when i have no clue, i ask you guys on Zukiworld.

i can get 4 tyres, cooper discoverer A/T 235/70-16 on a set of American Racing Python Chrome

Size-16x8
Offset-12
Backside-5
Bolt Circle-5-5 1/2
Note-2WD & 4WD 

will i get a lot of rubbing? is those rim's too wide?

i know some guys claim they get little to no rubbing with 235/70-16's on stock rims...

I don't know about the rims (offset and all) but I run 237/70/16 Dayton Timberline on my bone stock GV with only a little rubbing against the back of the driver's front wheel well.  (When turning while backing up on a slight incline.)  I had to trim some plastic, but otherwise it works fine.

i spoke to a suzuki dealer today, he told me that the backspacing was all wrong :'(

the rims has too little backspacing :'( :'( :'(

think i will bye just the tyres, if i get a good price on them.

I bet you those would fit, I ran 16x8"s on my old Tracker that were made for a mid-90s Bronco... stuck out barely an inch from the fenders

no idea on the rubbing though.  I'm running that size tire on my stock rims and don't have any

i think the best option is to go and trye them on the car, then i will know :)
