     has any one tried to find the breaking point on owr cv joints then use a type of limiter like to stop from hitting this point. i know everyone is after travel but desroying cvs doesnt help anyone offroad. second question has anyone made double cardan cv joints with u joints im realy not sure there would be room on owr litle shafts for 4 u joints just thought i would ask :)

Limiting straps aren't necessary. You have to add a strut spacer and/or longer stuts to increase downtravel. Check how far the CVs will go before they run out of travel - make sure you go full lock and ensure that the shaft hasn't dropped into the spline. Then make your spacer a touch shorter than that to give a bit of a safety margin.
