1.3 CAM
« on: June 11, 2007, 09:38:55 AM »
Hey, i was thinking about getting a CAM for my 88 sammi.
Has anyone ever installed one in there sammi? If so was there any noticible gains? or was it just a ruff idle with a lot of backfiring?

Any info would be great

Thanks

Amilla

A few years ago(2005) I helped my friend rebuild his samurai motor. He put an Isky cam in it, but I dont know how well it works because we never finished the project(sits in his garage) Supposedly, it was a midrange cam, so it would have alot more power between 3000 and 5000 rpms
Runnin' it stock with 225/75R15s and an unmodified 8valve TBI motor (I need a doug thoroley header and a cam) (more power) (1.6 liters of madness) (vroom + sewing machine sounds)
