bioniconion, friday's out for me, got stuff to do. Maybe some other time through the weekend?

ksa421: the winch is mounted VERY securely, but I didn't winch him, I yanked him out driving with a keeper strap.

The swampers are definately great off road! I used to say that I could drive places that aren't even fun to WALK on, well, now that applies to mud as well! That deep thicker stuff that steals your shoes is not a problem anymore! LOL!!! I love these things!
Had a cool sig pic till I changed the text... sigh...

Don't know about swampers and snow with the trackers, just got mine on last weak, but have run swampers in snow on my old ramcharger in two diffent sizes 34/9-16 tsl were like driving on dry pavement in the snow and Ice!!
33/15.50-15 tsl sx's on the same exact truck one year later and  had to 4wd just to get out of my drive way in only 6" of snow!

I think it's a ratio between foatation and wieght, ie wide tires good for sand and some kinds of mud, tall skinney tires good for snow(only if it isn't to deep)

thats just how it seems to me!

p.s. just put 30/11.50-15 swampers on my tracker and am praying for smow to test me theorys

Then my 9.50" wide swampers ought to do really well then. It just started snowing around here, so hopefully I'll get to play some soon!
