More rim questions: 3.25" backspacing on a kick
« on: August 21, 2007, 10:32:32 PM »
I found a nice set of rims (American Racing Outlaw II 15x7) in the buy and sell that I am thinking of picking up. The seller says they have 3.25" of backspacing. I'm just wondering what this will look like. I want a bit wider of a stance than what I've got right now (stock rims), so it's ok with me if they stick out a bit more. I also wouldn't mind knowing how 31x10.50 tires will fit on my 4 door with a 1.5" lift and 2" body lift and these rims.

Ok, so I wasn't able to pick them up today...but I will be getting them Monday night. BUT...today I did buy some 30x9.5R15 Bridgestone Dueler A/T tires! Can't wait to get them on...my question was just this: Most people are running 3.5 or 3.75 inches of backspacing. Will these rims be a big headache because they have 3.25" of backspacing? I didn't think it'd be a problem because it's only 1/4", but I just thought I'd make sure before I throw down the money. Thanks
