Samurai shocks stock?
« on: February 24, 2008, 10:41:00 AM »
My Sammy has 175,000 miles on it's original factory shocks.... I gut feeling is telling me that it's just about time to replace them  ::) . I've been reading of all the choices (Crown Vic etc.) for modified Suzuki's and was wondering if anyone knew of a good replacement after market shock for a semi stock slightly raised 86 Samurai.

Thanks Dennis

Pull them off and try them, they are stiff as hell from the factory so they should be getting good now, you could try and get some cheap shocks like red ryders if you can find them, a non gas shock would be the best for a smooth ride.

Hey thanks fuelish..... I just didn't know if the bottom of the line shock would be OK...  I'll check NAPA in the morning for the non gas type.
