body mounts to be or not ???
« on: April 17, 2008, 05:38:10 PM »
i jus finished a body lift on my 92 asuna but when i had the body up i noticed my mount on the passenger side was sideways so i pulled on it and ripped it ritout of the floor i live in nova scotia so rust is a major issue.so i did it anyways cuz i dont hav a weilder and i noticed a slite slant in the front end when alls said and done.
My question is will this be a really bad thing rit away or can i get away with this for a lil while without to much damage to the body i mean wat really can it do? not to much rit its just a fun rig i mean i dont drive kids around on the streets or anything. anybody  comment !!!!! and one of my bolts is broke so its only held on by 6 body bolts 1 in front i  in the next down then 2 and the 2 in the back is this also a major problem ill be mostley in mud and rivers like lakes and shit not to much rocks around the trails i go to

Having one or two bad will put more stress on the others and cause them to crack, or show their inner rust damage. You should get some plates cut, and weld them in. As for the front bolt, just tack weld the body lift block to the frame ;)

Where in NS do you live?
