the coil spring compressors are good when your by yourself with no one wanting to help you.

but, i always make sure i can get 2 on a coil, directly or as close as possible to being opposite the other, as in, one on each side, so that it doesn't form a banana under a lot of pressure.

from the first time i had to remove coil springs, i'm still quite scared of them coils. after you've seen or known what damage they could/can cause, you'll be the same.
