samurai transfer case won't shift tried new bushing with no luck

transfer case stuck in neutral just bought new poly bushing still no luck I tried to move the rods with screw driver but they don't move,should these rods move easyly ?Thanks Mike

he put the shifter in wrong, done it B4. has me kinda sucked up for a few also

The rod was blocking the shifter from going all the way down but I could not get the rod on the right to move with a screwdriver then I found if I move the rod on the left first then the rod on the right would move,works great now
