Hello, so I know this topic is covered over and over but I have a legit question. I am running Jeff's spacers front and rear on a 95 Sidekick. To get a level ride I have 1.5" in the front and 2" in the rear for a total of 2" all around.  I want to go ahead and put the 2" spacers in the front but do not know the resulting lift with the ratio in the front. I guess if 1.5" gives you 2" then there is an equation to figure out the lift ratio... I was never good at math so I hoped someone might know off the top of their head.

If I move the 2" spacers to the front and the 1.5" to the back, my thought is that I just get GV springs in the back to make up the difference. There used to be a thread on pirate 4x4 where a guy did a 3" lift all the way around with just springs. I seem to remember that GV springs with fit my 4 door kick and give a 1 or so inch lift. Does anyone know where I can find the spring heights on the stock 4door vs. the GV springs and if they will fit? The only other option is OME springs in the back.  But then I read with 3" of lift you need a drive line spacer. That looks cheap and easy from rock-road... but I am looking for some real world advice here.  Thanks in advance!

Also, anyone have any tips or tricks for getting the camber right? My camber cam bolts keep slipping. Thanks!

Keep the 1.5" in the front and the 2" in rear, then add the OME 955 springs in the rear and the OME  962 springs in the front.  This is the set up you read on pirate. EXcept he used a 1.75" spacer in the rear.  I dont think a .25" inch will make that big of difference.

Thanks for that!  One thing I can't seem to get a straight answer on is how much lift can you do in the front without having to drop the diff?  Would a 2" spacer = 3 inches of lift... and is that too much for the cv axles?

Couldnt tell ya on the front. Some people say 2" lift max and others say 3"max. It depends on how hard you drive it to.

i put 2" pucks in front(sometimes need to see things for myself), and it did lift the front |removethispart|@3".
looked like the tail was dragging- 1 1/2" leveled it out.
cv joints were near end of flex just sitting there. any suspension droop from there wasn't gonna work.
or so i thought.
this must be where diff. drop comes in.......
there must be some max angle those joints can handle. i figure that would be max droop.
'89 kick w/little motor, still got pieces of jeff's pucks, stan's sticks into 4.24:1 tcase, 31x10.5x15's, rear lockrite, kick power steering, some radios(kj6esv), bmw seat, other changes just because. done on the cheap.

We had about 3" of lift in the front, first time out BRD HNTR blew up a CV joint climbing a small hill.  :)

He has a good write up on how to drop the diff an inch and a half though.
