1" body lift question

Quick question for nay who may know. Would i need the steering rack extension if I was doing a 1" body lift?

I think guys have been adding an additional stock body spacer biscuit to gain the additional inch..
'02 Chezuki Tracker with a 2 Liter and 5spd.  It works for me!!!

i did this on my '89 kick. yours may be different, but look and see.
i took the lower dougnut off and replaced w/thinner material, and put more on top.
i used pieces i cut out of some old conveyor belt- looks like tire material.
i got 1 1/8" body lift.
gas fill hose still fit, had to lower front brake hose fitting(where it goes thru wheel well), and remount a brake line block on the passenger side.
i'll bet yours is similar.
oh yea- there were two other places on each side that had rubber mounts. i stacked the same amount of material on the frame at those locations before i let the body back down- no fasteners- and they are still there after 2 seasons.
'89 kick w/little motor, still got pieces of jeff's pucks, stan's sticks into 4.24:1 tcase, 31x10.5x15's, rear lockrite, kick power steering, some radios(kj6esv), bmw seat, other changes just because. done on the cheap.

thats what i did on my first gv as well, it got me a 1 3/4 inch lift, i just took the bottom rubber off and put it up top. no other mods needed.........other than the bumper brackets of course......
