You would need to weld up all the gaps in the frame, and the holes in the bottom!

Has anyone looked at the petroworks tank for the sami, I know the one on the website is for the carbe and would have to use an external pump. Someone let me know that they were working on an internal pump like the tracker for fokes that do a 1.6 efi setup in a sami. will it fit in the space between the frame with a 3" bod lift on a tracker?

Our New improved tank now has baffles in it to prevent the pickup tube from starving for fuel when your gas level is low on inclines. The best part of the new tank is our adaptation of a modified Sidekick/Tracker in tank electric fuel pump.
The in tank fuel pump model uses a stock Suzuki In Tank fuel pump from a Sidekick, Tracker, or 1990s Samurai. You must use a High Pressure Fuel Filter unit, banjo bolts and banjo fittings to connect to the filter inlet and outlet.

This tank is made from DOT approved Polyethylene. It will never rust or rot out. The 3/16" thick steel skid plate is Zinc plated and affords far better protection than the stock plate. Each tank includes a new sending unit and everything you will need for the installation. All hardware, hoses and clamps are included, and it is all pre-assembled. Installation will take about 1-2 hours and there no special tools needed. You will not loose any ground clearance as the skid plate does not hang down any lower than stock. The tanks are available in black and "natural" colors. The natural is slightly opaque so that the fuel level is visible when you look at it. This can be very comforting when you are trying to decide whether or not you have enough gas to do just one more section of trail or if there is any doubt as to the accuracy of the fuel gage.
