I just picked up a 94 tracker two door 4x4 going to be using it for daily driving and some trail action.  I see there are a few different setups on lifting them and was thinking about doing a 2"body lift with 2" coil spacers.  Is this a good idea or is this going to lead to problems.  I got the tracker for three hundred cause it needed a timing belt.  Would like to do a little something to it but dont want to break the bank either.  If i did this lift what size tire could i fit on it.  Thanks everyone for your help sorry its so long just wanna get this truck going and not sure if i should lift it or stuff the biggest tire i can fit on it stock.

you can run 30" on it with no lift and some minor rubbing...at $300 you probably won't mind pounding in the fenders and trimming them. Trimming the fenrders a little, 2" body and 2" susp should fit 31's with no problems.

Throw some 30's on it, trim the fenders a little and weld the rear.....then you'll go almost anywhere. Don't forget that the front pot is a weak link and there are a few fixes on the web. Strap it down to it doens't rotate.

I am running 30X9.50's without any fender trimming, lots of mods though.  Put some 4dr springs under it and get 1" + of lift, cheap and a nice ride.  That will allow 29" tires unless heavy flexing.  You can get more lift with coil spacers, but the ride gets stiffer the higher you go.  Larger tires mean loss of highway power, and higher gears (to get the gear ratio back towards stock) are rare unless you are running a 3 spd auto.

The first time you take the sawzall to your beloved trail rig is terrifying.  Then you get over it.  Just cut it!  Then put on flares!
