FWIW, the Calmini Anvil requires that the 3" suspension lift be installed...I assume this is because the Anvil is built with the same "drop" as the drop brackets in their 3" kit...so for those who aren't running the 3" Calmini lift, or any lift for that matter, and the diff drop brackets don't matter to you...then the cast iron housing may be a better option.
The trick thing about the Anvil is that it comes with the pass. side axle conversion ready-to-go.
Anvil: $669.95. Plus you have to find a third member (preferably cast iron). Add that cost to $669.95.
Cast iron housing AND third from Hawk Strictly Suzuki: $649. But, it will run stock axles---no custom pass. side axle conversion.
So basically, if you don't care for the pass. side axle mod, then it'd be more cost-effective to get the whole shebang from Hawk.
Or, if you're brave and skilled, do what BRD HNTR did and fab up your own stuff with an old Samurai rear:
