As october quickly approaches I finally get to start making a list of things that I want to do to my sami when I get back from this deployment. I've got a 91 fuel injected sami, and a couple of 88 parts samis to play around with. Is anyone on here running propane on their sami? I'm considering it, but was wondering what the pro's and con's were as opposed to gas. From what i've seen I would have to ditch the EFI and mod a carb which isn't a problem since I've already got all of the parts for it other than the propane kit.

If you have EFI, there isn't much advantage to Propane, unless
you can get it for free, or a greatly reduced price, then you might
think about it, EFI eliminates all the problems that carbs have
that propane would also eliminate.

I vote No, not cost effective and no benefits to gain
