1995 16 valve timming

I know everyone loves to explain how to time these engines so I am giving everyone another chance to do it. I am in the process of changing head gaskets. I have the crank at TDC and I just bolted the head down. I backed the lifted adjustment screws all the way off then I set the cam in there, but I don't know what all the marks mean and need to figure out where the cam needs to be positioned before bolting it in.
Zuki addict. I have five zuks right now and not even thinking about stopping.

This one has been done to death, just do a search, there has got to be at least 3 or 4 threads devoted to this topic.
The usual stuff, and 2nd generation Air to liquid intercooled TURBOCHARGER

What you want to do is jump over to Ack's Faq and do a search for timing belt.  There he has the FSM for the 16 valve.

I would tell you but to be honest I don't remember the specifics.  It's been over a year since I replaced the belt and had to re-set the timing on my Tracker.

Yea, it takes a while to learn where things are.  How is that V6 swap you had going?

I am looking for a new front bracket on the engine that holds the alternator, PS pump, tensioner, and ac pump. they had to modify it so the PS pump wouldn't hit the steering box, but they had bad welds and didn't have all the bolts in. I was driving it one day the PS pump and part of the bracket literally fell out. I found a Toyota fj55 land cruiser that was getting parted out, so I got the axles and springs to put under there. I also have a 208 and a 205 tcase to mate to the 700r4, but haven't decided what one to use. the 208 is aluminum and the 205 is cast iron, so I might use the 208 because it is a lot lighter. As soon as I get the 95 kick out of the garage I will put the v6 in there and start the build.
