calmini 5in combo lift ride quilty?
« on: June 15, 2004, 05:35:37 AM »
Well i got it on....Hell yeah it's super tall and kinda flexy ???. I wanted to ask how long before this thing breaks in. It rides like crap and it hurts like riding a three wheeler. I'll get some pics up sometime tomorow.

I did a make shift alignment and pounded the hell out of mine for an afternoon, ramped it a few times, and it smoothed out allot. Did you do the 2"suspension and 3" body?

That's unfortunatly a drawback to arched lift springs. As well as decreased flex. They should soften up a bit over time, but not much. I had a trailmasher(trail master) 3" lift on my first sammy and I never rode in anything more harsh that that thing. I tried several shock combos, finally settled on Doetch Tech's. Found them to be the softest.

For us poor 'uns who can't afford the bling-bling of a coil setup we need to make due.  :'( ;DI'll be there eventually. Prolly get the auto in first with the 1.6L.
