jeep yj spring swap
« on: February 22, 2011, 10:44:25 AM »
what is the best way to do this swap? full kit, like from trail tough? partial kit, by all pieces individually? i have had my samurai for about 3 years now, and really havent done anything to it. i finally have about $1600 to play with right now because of tax money YAY!  i was thinking of doing the yj swap because from what i have heard, it gives great articulation, and increased comfort for everyday driving. of course i would like to do the swap for as cheap as possible, but am willing to spend up to the $1600 mark if need be. if i am barking up the wrong tree here, let me know if there is a better way to get good comfort and articulation for cheaper. also, if it makes any difference, i have stock springunder, with a shackle lift and small body lift (all done before it was my rig) thank you guys for any and all input

The best way can be argued back and forth with no resolution.  The easiest way is to pay someone like Trail Tough, who has experience and good customer service, and have them send you all the parts.  Then if you have an issue you can just call.  :)
