the lockright comes with an install manual with pics, read the manual and follow the instructions to the letter and you will be ok.side gears are usually ok.ive not had to buy new ones, there are pics in the manual showing side gears in different states of wear.it really is a good install manual.
god must love crazy people,he made so many of them!!!

Well I have driven with a locke before as I stated before but thanks for the input.  It came today so I may leave work early to go home and put it in.  How long does it take?

For a Kick. 2-3 hours, sammy you have to remove
the brakes to get the axle out  :P

I would suggest replacing the sammy axle/bearing
retainers with SideKick ones so you can remove the
axle without pulling brakes, could make trail fixes a
little easier should you snap an axle out there.
