Vitara, Grand Vitara bumper interests?
« on: April 25, 2011, 06:06:19 PM »
I have teamed up with a shop to possibly do Vitara, and Grand Vitara bumpers. What are the interest in basic tube bumpers with available add ons such as d ring mounts, grill guards, winch mounts, and receiver mounts? As far as boxed bumpers thats another option as well. Tube bumpers would probably start around 250 to 300, boxed bumpers are to be determined. We are working on a prototype as we speak. Bumpers will have the option of mild steel tubing, or DOM for added strength.

Let me know what you think. :D

Definitely interested in a tube bumper for my Vitara, not crazy about the super duty look though. My trucklet's only got a 2.0L motor so the bumper's gotta be light.

If you could make something something like Trail Tough's tube bumper i'd buy one.

Just my two cents.

Cool appreciate the feed back. The superduty bumper was just a sample of craftsmanship :D.

I like the superduty bumper, and what I can see of the craftsmanship is excellent - if it weren't for the distances involved, I would go for one of those, smaller & lighter of course, since the superduty is a much bigger vehicle than the Vitara - I figure on getting one made locally and I'm part way through mocking it up in cardboard.

A rear swing away tire carrier bumper. Complete with gas can(s) if possible. We need one. No one currently offers one that I can see. When I get the GV lifted, we'll either buy one that's on the market or have one built.

Are there any specific styles you like? Or pictures of some that you like? If you draw something up I'll proto it on my GV, and get you one asap :D.

But in all seriousness, where are you located?

Hmm, a little ways from BC, Canada.

Well if you keep your pencil sharp (i.e.; keep the price down), I'll still be interested. As you can tell, i really like the Trail Tough bumper for the 1st gen trackers/sidekicks, but they don't offer anything for the 2nd gen trucks. If you can come in below TT's price for a 2nd gen bumper then in my opinion, the added cost of shipping would be worth it

I have an 03 tracker for which I've been looking for a decent aftermarket tube bumper for a long time.  Would any of your products bolt onto my truck?
