I like it... looks much neater routing it that way than ripping a hole in the side of the fender, which is what I did. I'll have to get pics of the finished deal sometime...

Oops what happened to your mirror?  Ive been trying to think of wa way to put on a nice fold away myself.  Anyone go suggestions?

i got my folding ones off a older s-10.  they fit on vary nice but are a little big

As soon as I'm done driving the Festiva for the summer, I'm swiping the mirrors off that... I think they'll fit the bill perfectly: Around the same size mounting area, small surface size, flexable connector dealie, etc. ;D

no the panal is welded in and it would take alot of fab work plus i built to off road.

hmmmm i like ;D, gives me some ideas 8)  what did you use for the pipe going up the window, what diameter, and what dia is the pcv pipe going under the hood?  does it rub on the hood?  what is that your using for the top?  how are you going to incorperate an air filter, or are you?  looks good

says 'Chevy' on the outside,
but its covered with lots of big 'S's on the inside ;)

it conects to my stock airbox and i have a k&n filter in it. it is all 2" PVC the top is from electical PVC it is made for the power lines coming into your house from the pole it is gray. there is also a new paint that is made for plastic it stays on really well.

I used sammy mirrors on my zuki. looks good and tuck away nicely
1990 1.6L 8V kick,2.5" body and 2.5"sus lift,pro9000 ramsey winch. Full skids,30X9.5 mud kings,15X7steel wheels.Removable doors, Zuki Swift seats,Hi-lift,Steel rear bumper,Electric fan,K&N filter.

Looks great, nice pics. Once the dummy panel is removed, did you have to modify anything else to clear the pipe?

About the swing-away mirrors, approx what year s-10 and do they fit the stock location on the door pillar? Please let me know! Thanks.

it was like an 80's style s-10  and you have to dill the holes for them on the door.  mine do NOT have covors on them so if you want some to hide the base of the mirror then you will have to mod the s-10 ones.

There are usually folding Track/Kick mirrors on ebay for 52 bucks each...
If it's worth building, it's worth over-building!

Yep, or you can sometimes find the same price at your FLAPS. (Similar to these for about $50.)
