If you have auto hubs, go ahead and get them, but if you have
stock manuals, keep them, they are at least as good as any you
can buy, and probably better

Do the stock hubs need to be rebuilt after x miles?  Mine are very hard to engage, seems like they might need a good cleaning or something?

Not to sound too much like a shill, but I encourage you to check out our hubs, too.

Yes, they can be cleaned and rebuilt.  They are basically identical to Toyota hubs.

I believe that tracker/sidekick hubs can be swapped on as well if you use two base gaskets or something to that effect.

The stock Aisin hubs are better than any of the aftermarket hubs from what I have heard and experienced myself, but are easily twice the cost. I went with the Warn hubs rather than doing a rebuild of the Aisin's or purchasing any of the cheaper aftermarket hubs.
