OREGON - Fremont-Winema National Forest Motorized Trail Project Meeting

The Fremont-Winema National Forest has launched its Motorized Trail Project to evaluate development of a system of motorized trails for use by off-highway vehicles (motorcycle, ATV or full sized vehicles).
This project is in response to input received during the Motorized Travel Management planning process and the Forest's commitment to look at a site-specific system of motorized trails. The goal of this project is to work closely with interested parties to develop an economically and environmentally sustainable motorized trail system.
The Forest will host its 2nd Public Meeting to discuss in more detail the planning process, informational needs and how best to form a working group to assist the Forest in the development of this trail system.
