super turbo muffler is what most guys are running. very hard to not get the tuner sound out of these trucks.

i run a flopro baffle bottle. almost the same as a glasspack but with a set of baffles to cut it down as well. its a bit bigger then a standard 14"long  glasspack but a bit bigger diameter (4") nice and compact but it gives a bit of a louder idle with some good noise when you rev it up and go through the gears. once on the highway its not bad. only a bit louder then stock.

i was lucky enough to do mine while i was working at an exhaust shop so i got to try out alot of different mufflers on it before i settled on the baffle bottle. (everything from a cheapy muffler to a high end dynomax ultraflo)

my major factor was ive ripped off 3 mufflers on the trails so with the baffle bottle its small enough and i got it tucked up so its a bit harder to knock off. plus its all welded front to back.

I had a new cat put on mine with 2" pipe and a flowmaster i had laying around. To me it doesnt sound bad, not to loud or tunnerish.

Cherry Bomb Turbo mufflers not bad at idle, but everyone within 1/4 mile knows when I get above half throttle.  These things just tell everyone where you are.  Perhaps with a turbo in front of them it would dilute the sound.

The cherry bomb and other similar straight pass thru mufflers will sound like any of the import 4bangers with one of those fart can mufflers, alot of drone and rasp which will not garner you many friends on the trail, LOL

I just ordered the Dynomax super turbo because it changes the direction 180 degrees twice internally which greatly cancels the rasp and drone.

Cherry Bomb Turbo Mufflers are not straight pass thru, although you can hardly tell.  They use the same twin perforated tubes as other Turbo mufflers, maybe bigger perforations.  Most off road area's do not allow straight thru exhaust systems, if anyone is checking.  Mine doesn't drone on the trail, sounds rather nice.  But then I couldn't get to half throttle on a trail, even in low range.
You are right the volume of the sound would not garner me many friends on the trail, nor would the speed at which I would be flying.
Auto Accessories Garage    Cherry Bomb Turbo Muffler 16804    $21.89     Maybe a single exhaust system would create enough back pressure to muffle it more?

The dynomax super turbo is a triple pass, ie three individual perforated tubes within the muffler, two 180 degree direction changes.

Sounds good.  How much of a difference did adding the silencer make?
