-I am intimately familiar with Mid America Motorworks (new name) as well as Mike Yager and crew.... Longtime friendship with him and many of the folks from there as well as the Effinham / Highland area....

Yeah, they used to be Mid America Direct and then Mid America Designs... They used to also own and house Tweeks (Porsche parts) and The Real Source (VW stuff). We had all types of parts going in and out of that place... good times. I can remember when they were bidding on the Harley Dealership. I was hoping they would get it because I really enjoy motorcycles also and would have liked to work on that side of the business.... but that didn't pan out.

I had a vette in the Funfest exhaust sound off for a couple of years (while I worked there).

Kenny Yager is the interesting one. He was always working on a few projects.

My parents still live in the Effingham area, and my wife and I own some land back there, but I haven't made it back for a funfest since we moved over a decade ago. We need to make it a point to make it back for a funfest. From what I have heard, the size has shrunk in the past couple years but I am sure it is still a good time for all.
